About Me
Hi, I'm Stacey!
I’m a graphic designer, community-driven leader, coffee-fueled chaos coordinator (a.k.a. mum of two) and aspiring educator who believes in the power of storytelling to create change. Stayd Creative is a play on my name, Stacey Dick, without the C and ick!
I founded Stayd Creative as a way to bring meaningful design to the heart of the country, for the farmers, family-run shops, and small-town dreamers who keep our regional communities alive. What started as a design studio soon became a platform for connection, collaboration, and creative advocacy.
That same passion for community led me to create Women of the Murray, a not for profit social enterprise that celebrates and supports women across our region. Through storytelling, mentorship, and events like Brave Not Perfect, I’ve had the privilege of helping women share their real stories with honesty and heart. Those moments of courage and vulnerability have built a movement grounded in belonging, strength, and authenticity.
Creativity has always been my language, how I connect, lead, and give back. Whether through visual storytelling, community projects, or mentoring, I’m driven by a desire to help others find their voice and use it with confidence.
Now, as I study my Master of Teaching (Secondary) and complete the 2025 Fairley Leadership Program, I’m bringing that same creative energy into education. My goal is to empower the next generation to think critically, express themselves with confidence, and lead with empathy.
At my core, I believe that when creativity meets community, powerful stories emerge and those stories have the power to change lives.

I graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Communication Design in 2013. Since then I have freelanced, worked in printing and publishing, had various marketing roles, dabbled in interior design and freelanced again! Recently, I've felt a fire to do more-advocating for our beautiful region, championing women, and stepping up as a leader. (I'm even working on my public speaking skills, so one day, I can rock a mic without breaking a sweat!)
I know the juggle is real, and that's why l'm here. To support, inspire, and connect with incredible individuals like you. I’m deeply passionate about advocating for this remarkable area of Victoria. The towns surrounding the Murray River across Moira Shire hold a special charm, offering a community and lifestyle that are truly unique and wholesome. Through my work, I aim to celebrate and support the small businesses and individuals that make this region so vibrant.
